Welcome to Toloache (pronounced toh-lo-AH-tchay), owner Julian Medina’s contemporary Mexican bistro located in the heart of Manhattan’s Theatre district. Toloache is named after a flowering plant famed in Mexico for its use in love potions. Chef Medina’s creative cooking incorporates seasonal and natural ingredients and more than a dozen types of chilies. You’ll fall in love with the cuisine and the festive two-story space, which features a guacamole and ceviche bar, a wood-burning oven, and an exceptional tequila & mezcal list, along with elegant decorative elements imported from Mexico.
