Bahama Breeze has 32 locations throughout the United States and features fresh casual Caribbean inspired cuisine such as fresh fish and seafood, wood grilled steaks and chicken, prepared with a distinctive splash of the islands. Annual sales per restaurant are approximately 5MM. Bahama Breeze is owned and operated by Darden Restaurants, Inc.

Rick has led the Bahama Breeze culinary team since 1995 and oversees the creation and implementation of a great selection of dishes providing guests with Caribbean inspired fresh, delicious and innovative fare. The vast selection of refreshing, hand-crafted tropical beverages at Bahama Breeze is also under his guidance.

Rick also represents Bahama Breeze and Darden Restaurants in the restaurant industry with his active participation as board member of the Caribbean Culinary Federation, a certified judge for culinary competitions throughout the islands, a member of the American Culinary Federation, an Alumni Fellow of the Culinary Institute of America and as an editorial advisory board member for Cheers magazine. He is a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America and the University of Massachusetts.
