Polished Palate Biography



Arturo Lomeli is a first generation Master Distiller, current CEO and founder of Casa Tradicion in 1997. His company began producing La Pinta, a pomegranate infused tequila that has become the new way to drink tequila.

In 2001 Master Distiller Arturo Lomeli launched Clase Azul Reposado, an Ultra Premium Tequila made 100% from Blue Agave, cooked slowly in traditional stone ovens and aged for a minimum of 8 months in sherry oak barrels, Packaged in a unique hand-made, hand-painted ceramic decanter with a story of its own.

Developing his vision of making of Casa Tradicion a world class company he unveiled his master piece in 2007: Clase Azul Ultra, one of the first extra añejos in the world, in a limited edition of 100 bottles a year, Ultra is presented in a black ceramic decanter, decorated in silver, gold and platinum by Mexican Artists.

In 2008 Casa Tradicion launched Clase Azul Plata, outstanding tequila that reinforced the commitment of Arturo to develop world-class Tequilas that far surpasses the expectations of the most sophisticated palates.

The quality of his products has earned awards and recognition as:
